- Ronald Adams tells his mom that he will be back right before he leaves and that he will be fine.
- Rising Action 3
- Ronald, for the first time, meets the hitchhiker on the Brooklyn Bridge.
- Climax
- He goes to the gas station and when asking if people hitchhike in the area, the man responds by saying they would be a fool to hitchhike in this area.
- Falling Action
- After almost dying on the train tracks, Ronald thinks the hitchhiker wanted him dead. So, he tells himself he will kill the hitchhiker the next time Ronald sees him.
- I will kill him!
- After being left by a woman almost immediately, he calls his mom for comfort. Then, a random woman, Ms. Whitney says that Mrs. Adams went into shock after finding out her son died on train tracks.
- Mrs. Adams went into shock after her son died.
- He gets disconnected from the phone and is left alone, only with his car, his mind, and the hitchhiker.
- BEEP.
- Hello? Dang, disconnected.
