- This isn't the first time this has happened. Brown v Board represents 4 other cases were Blacks were denied into white schools. Blacks and Whites education has always been separate.
- The case finally reached the Supreme court where they finally questioned whether it was constitutional or not to keep the separate but equal clause.
- On May 17, 1954, the court ruled that the separate but equal rule was unconstitutional and blacks and whites can now finally attend the same schools.
