- Cia - Everyman Hero - She was an everyday citizen before put into this "extraordinary experience".
- Tomas - Sidekick - Supports hero and whenever he is around brings relief to Cia.
- Rhyme - The Shadow - Trys to prevent Cia from winning with corncakes in this way is a foil.
- Zandria - Child - Has childish actions because only works hard in order to advance her arts, which in my opinion is childish.
- Dr. Barnes - The Shadow - So far person in charge of the testing which is evil.
- Cia's Dad - Wise old man/woman - Helps hero (Cia) by giving her information about the testing, in addition gives her advice .
