In this population it shows Physical adaptation. It shows that the penguin swims very fast.
If the population grows they dont fit on the ice. So they have to get off thhe ice and go find somewhwere else but the preditors will try to eat them.
He did not survive because they let their newborns stay on the ice and they have to leave. It didn't swim fast enough to escape the killer whale.
The change in the gene is that they don't really swim as fast as the parents they weren't taught well so when they get left off the ice they will die.
The pinguins genetic variation was tat it swam fas and tryed to swim away from the orca .
