- Comanche come to Texas to attack the Indians, the Apache. The Comanche were strong and fearless they wanted to control the Apache.

- After the Apaches were attack, they begged the Spanish to protect them from the Comanche. The Spanish said that they would and the mission would be named Santa Cruz de San Saba.

- The Spanish built Mission San Saba far away from the soldiers and forts. The Apache were safe.
- The Spanish Struggled With All The Fighting, And The Comanche Took The Spaniard's Land.
- Even though the Spanish protected them, the Apache were in hunting season. The Apache left to go hunt instead of the Spanish protecting them.
- When the Apache were coming back from hunting, the Comanche attacked. The Comanche used French Rifles to burn the mission to the ground.

- The Spanish struggled with all the fighting, between the Apache and the Comanche .The Spanish lost most of there land from the Comanche.
