This also helped start the arms race. The Arms race was a race of developing strong and powerful weapons for war such as missiles and bombs
The Berlin Airlift was America dropping supplies on our side of the Berlin blockade
This is because the U.S was helping the people that were put on the other side of the blockade  that was put their for containment policy 
We dropped off food and clothes and other things that would help the people stay fed and able to live
With the testing of these bombs spies became a problem in america. People were caught spying in america about the nuclear bombs 
These spies were people spying for the USSR and giving them secrets about the U.S development of nuclear weapons

The Space Race began and was a race between the U.S and the USSR to be the first people to get into space.
We were sending rockets and stuff into space and the people of America were kind of concerned at the time because they were not told what was happening
This is the representation of the largest bomb ever tested and it was by the USSR and it was so big that it actually damaged the atmosphere
This bomb was so big that the countries made a rule that they are not allowed to test bombs this big anymore because they will destroy the world
