- im sorry but my family is suffering smallpox.

- okay then, go downstream and lie about your family to get some help.
- when wanting to rest for the night, they found out that the canoe had been stolen. later, the raft collided with a steamboat, and they were separated, with huck being washed ashore.
- OH NO THE RAFT!!!
- A man calls off the dogs, saving Huck, who introduces himself as “George Jackson.” Later,Huck will stay at Buck’s family house, the Grangerfords.
