- The native Americans side with the Confederacy because the Confederacy offered them lots of benefits.
- That is how the golden years ended for the native Americans.
- The union ends up winning the war and making the Indians pay for siding with the Confederacy
- The union took half of all the Indian territory and made them surrender all of there annuity and the president was willing to make new treaties.
