- Obi-wan Kenobi was born on the planet of Tattoine to loving parents who lived on a small farm.
- Obi-wan was a quiet, obedient child who kept to himself. His parents planned for him to stay on the family farm and continue working there as an adult.
- When Obi-wan was 7 years old, he was walking outside the family farm when he was approached by a giant carnivorous spider. He was terrified and froze. But just before the spider bit, it was suddenly blown off its feet, and through the air, by an invisible force. No one could explain it.
