- Coraline lived with her mother and her father. One day they decided to move to a very old house.
- Coraline's parents had a lot of work to do. She felt rejected and decided to explore her big, new house.
- Unexpectedly Coraline found a secret door that lead to another world.
- Inside that door she found her other mother and her other father. They told Coraline to sew buttons in her eyes.
- Evidently Coraline was smart, and knew there was something wrong so she didn't do it. Instead she rescued her real parents.
- They lived happily ever after.
