- Hi Joan. Being out of touch from society for a while will leave a man with a million questions. The status of our economy must be different from when I was still involved.
- I most definitely have to catch you up to date. The world's been pretty hectic and competitive.
- Competition eh. Thats why I moved out into these woods, I have no competition, I'm in a league of my own.
- There are these two people feuding- Marksman and Higgins- they both work in the production of sea food mainly shrimp and lobster. Keep in mind competition is a huge component in this story.
- If Marksman wants to start selling shrimp and go against me, I will start selling lobster! There is no way he can sell and produce more shrimp than me... I specialize in the production of shrimp and why not give myself an advantage an specialize in the production of lobster as well!
- Competition, Competition, competition- that all Higgins is
- Well, well if it isn't Marksman, the man who thinks he has or is capable of having the absolute advantage. You must be blind I can most definitely outperform you
- Of course, I can Higgins I have the comparative advantage here. I've come up with ways to make production swift and efficient - ways that you could've never thought of.

- Thinking you're the best by specializing in the production of shrimp will leave you in the dust and have me thrive. You are incapable of having the absolute advantage because I have a comparative advantage which naturally compliments my business and gives me an absolute advantage. I will thrive because I practice division of labor. I don't do anything alone my workers are just as important and make my work thrive.
- WOAH NOW WHAT IN THE WORLD! I know I've been out of the loop, but man is Higgins wrong if he was in the middle of an economic interdependence he would lose so much!
- Yes, I agree no wonder Marksman makes more money and has better benefits.
