As Ms Lyons cannot have any children of her own Ms Lyons offers Ms Johnston £1000 so she is able to support her children in exchange for one of her unborn twins
After some consideration Mrs Johnston agrees to swear on the bible that she will give one of her twins to Ms Lyons without telling anyone else that their deal occured
