Since we all look like the lichen on the trees we are safe from our predators! Unlike the few moths who are born all black, they're so noticeable they die on the spot!
Oh no! All our lichen has been killed off from this pollution! This industrial revolution is making everything look black, our predators are going to find us easily!
WE HAVE TO BLEND IN!
Now we look like the smog and all the buildings. Our camouflage iscaused by a mutation in our DNA of a single moth, and the mutated gene will be passed to all our offspring.
We reverted back to our spotted appearance in a mater of a few generations! Our speedy evolution is so unique and saved us from peril!
