- This was when Uncle Dan and Aunt Dot hated each other and they would have separate things. They would even have dinner with Maniac on alternate days.. In Chapter 1 it says, "Uncle Dan and Aunt Dot hated each other, but because they were strict Catholics, they could not divorce"
- I will never come back to this place again.
- This is the part where Mrs. Beale was scrubbing the name "fishbelly" written in spray paint off the Beale's brick wall. According to Chapter 17, "She was scrubbing the house, the brick wall, scrubbing furiously at the chalk, grunting with the effort, her cheeks wet." After seeing this, Maniac decided that it was his fault.
- When Piper and Russell were playing their game, Mars Bar almost got injured by a Cobra. According to Chapter 42, “… for lust then another word -- "Geronimo!" -- came plunging from the sky and landed with a floor-jarring, heart- stopping crash directly behind him.” Mars Bar was terrified and mad tempting to charge the Cobra.
- That’s not funny! He could’ve gotten hurt!
- HAHAHAAH! Aw man check his face! AHAHAHA!
- After Uncle Dan and Aunt Dot wouldn’t talk to each other anymore, Maniac went on the stage where the choir was performing shouting to talk. Since that didn’t work, he decided to leave the house after he couldn’t take their hatred for each other anymore. According to Chapter 1, "Never again return to the house of two toasters."
- This is when Maniac decides to leave the Beale's house after he realizes that they are getting hurt because of him. He left the house, knowing it wouldn’t hurt the Beale’s anymore. Page 75 states, "The right thing was to make sure the Beales wouldn't get hurt anymore. he couldn't keep letting them pay such a price for him.”
- Maniac had to hold Mars Bar back from attacking the Cobra after he almost hurt Mars Bar. Maniac was mad at them for their unwelcoming treatment to Mars Bar. According to Chapter 42, “ Maniac had to wrap Mars Bar in a bear hug to keep him from charging the fat red roller.”
