  • The Hundred Years War
  • So before we can talk about Joan, we have to cover how the Hundred Years War started. So this war all starts when the King of France dies and Edward the III of England thinks that he can take the throne of France and England, since he has a strait line of succession, but instead Phillip VI become King of France. The first 60 years of the war, England gained much land from the French, and was dominating the war. So now this leads me to where we start to journey or story of Joan during this war.
  • Joan of Arc: Early Life
  • Move a long you dirty peasant!
  • Don't worry the French has their first victory of the war. You will soon be out of this dump and fighting in the war.
  • Joan and the French Prince
  • My prince I must explain! I have been having these visions from god saying that we have just won our first victory of this war. These visions also told that I will be the leader of the French Army, I conclude you should let me join the army!
  • Yes. I will only let you into my army, since I am desperate and in need for some sort of faith or hope. This news will be passed onto the French army.

  • Joan Leads the French to Victory at the Battle of Orleans
  • Attack!
  • Joan lives a life as a peasants (the lowest class of the feudal system), in a French town that has been taken over by the English Army. She hates living under control by the English, since they slaughter and kill people, and that they have complete control of what you say and what you do. But what is worse is that people think that she is very crazy, since she keeps on telling people that she has visions from god!
  • Joan's Capture and Death
  • This woman went on trial, for witchcraft, heresy, dressing like up like a man...and much more I just can't explain!
  • Joan is now taking notice of what the visions of god are saying to her. Joan has convinced the Prince of France into letting Joan into the French army, because of Joan saying that the French has won there first battle of the war, and also because the Prince was desperate, for anything that he finds. The Prince has started to spread the word of how Joan is having these visions.
  • Joan inspires the French to win the War
  • We Won! We Won! Joan and god always had faith in us!
  • Joan made many of men from the French army follow her where she went, since they believed she had visions from god. During battle Joan had to be dressed like a man so she doesn't get caught being a women. She proves that women are as good as men, that she is a good fighter, and that she is very ruthless and tough during battle. Joan inspired many men of the army to push through and win the war for France.
  • Follow me! Let's climb up this ladder!
  • Let's follow her, she is supposed to have visions from god!
  • When Joan was on trial she was burned at the stake for dressing like a man, heresy, and witchcraft. The English were the captors or where the ones that captured Joan. On this day when Joan was burned at the stake. The trial made all of the French troops angry, since she was a leader, and was a really good fighter to the French army.
  • You have just made the biggest mistake of your life! You rubbish English King!
  • On the day that she died she was known all over Europe, as a Martyr. Even though the French army won the war due to the influence of Joan, she showed that women are equal to men, and she also showed that there is always faith and hope. Also, her influence led to nationalism all across Europe, and maybe even the world. Due to all of these reasons, this is why Joan was a saint of the Catholic Church for so many years.
  • Joan shall always be a saint to France and the French army, forever!
