What??? Now we're facing taxation without representation??? This is not going to be around for long. We won't allow it. We'll protest!
Hey! We're the British and we are putting the Townshend Acts in place, which will increase your taxes on goods, such as tea.
Cue the Boston Massacre! After several protests and boycotts, colonists band together to become more organized, resulting in the protests escalating. They escalated to a point where a confrontation resulted in 5 dead.
Knowing this information now, how did this "massacre" manage lead up to the American Revolution? What started as a minor fight lead to the beginning of the American Revolution, as the Boston Massacre sparked colonist's desire for independence and change. The Boston Massacre was a motivator for colonists to stand up against taxation and overall British rule.
