- next is Andre- Marie Ampere who formulated the principle that the magnetic effect depends on the direction of the electric current and helped establish the mathematical relationship between electric currents and magnetic fields.(1775-1836)
- and Michael Faraday who discovered electromagnetic induction, showing that a changing magnetic field can induce an electric current.(1791-1867)

- And James Clerk Maxwell who unified the work of previous scientists by developing Maxwell's equations, which demonstrated that light is an electromagnetic wave and predicted the existence of other electromagnetic waves.(1831-1879)
- And last, Heinrich Hertz who provided experimental proof for Maxwell's theory by producing and detecting electromagnetic waves, confirming their existence and properties, including that they travel at the speed of light.(1857-1894)
