- Hey, my name is Rushka and I've been working for this retail company for more than 10 years now. I've always been happy here but they did me dirty for the past 3 months.
- Introduction Of Problem
- I've been in and out of work for the past 9 month,s but for the last 3 months I've been on maternity leave and not even once did I get paid.
- Pick n Pay Offices
- To come to think of it, no. I didn't get to do anything about it though because no one took my case serious enough.
- Hey Isabel, can I ask something? Did you or did you not get paid when you were on maternity leave?
- Rushka explaining how long she's been working for the retail company and how she feels about it.

- Ruska asking her colleague if she went through what she's going through right now when she was on leave.

- I totally agree with you because we've been treated unfairly.
- That is unfair, I think we should talk to the our other femal colleagues and ask them about the same thing so we can make a plan about it.
- The other colleagues being told about the issue and wanting to taje action.
- Isabel I have been discussing what has happened to us during maternity leave, us not being paid, and want to take action but we cant do it without you guys.
- The colleagues agreeing to the idea and coming up with solutions.
- As I speak on behalf of everyone else, I agree. We can't strike though because we could get hurt. The least we could do is get in touch with our trade union and speak to the trade unionorganiser.
