- I published my book, De Revolutionibus, or On the Revolutions of the Celestial Spheres, in 1543. During that time, they were wanting to reform the calendar, which was lead by Paul of Middelburg. I made sure to specify that my book of mathematics was for mathematicians because people who weren’t good at math wouldn’t understand.
- My work was used by later scientists like Brahe, Kepler, Galileo, and later on Newton. I don’t want to flex on you, BUT... I’m considered to be the initiator of the scientific revolution.
- Also, my calculations were used to create the Gregorian calendar, which was introduced in 1582 and its widely used today.
