Aarti’s family moved to the United States from India for better education and job opportunities. His dad, who was previously an engineer, found work in Silicon Valley’s growing tech industry, and Aarti was able to attend Stanford University, a top school, to study computer science. Indian immigrants like Aarti’s family were often highly educated and came to the U.S. for better careers in fields like technology and business. There were better job positions, bigger paychecks, and more likely to have a better future.
