- Olivia Confesses Her Love
- I pity you.(3.1.126) I am not what I am. (3.1.138)
- I bade you never speak again of him.(3.1.109). I don't love him, I love you.
- Sir Toby's Idea
- Go write it in a martial hand. Be curst and brief; no matter how witty, so it be eloquent and full of invention. (3.2.45)
- What a wonderful idea Sir Toby!
- It makes me angry seeing Olivia love Cesario and not me. I cannot tolerate this man anymore. Will either of you bear me a challenge to him? (3.2.41)
- Cesario has come to speak with Olivia yet again, to continue to try and convince her to marry the Duke, Orsino.
- Malvolio Becomes a Fool
- Yond Gull Malvolio is turned heathen, a very renegado. He's in yellow stockings. (3.2.70)
- Though Cesario had come to convince Olivia to marry Duke Orsino again, Olivia begged Cesario to never speak of him again. She then proceeded to confess her love for him instead.
- Antonio and Sebastian Arrive In Illyria
- We have finally made it here Antonio. Thank you for coming with me.
- I could not stay behind you. (3.3.4)
- Sir Andrew leaves upset as he sees Viola begging for Cesario's love. That's when Sir Toby comes up with an idea for Sir Andrew to fight for his love as he wishes to challenge Cesario.
- Olivia's Reaction To Malvolio
- Thy yellow stocking? (3.4.50)
- Sweet lady,ho,ho! (3.4.16)
- Malvolio ends up fooling himself as he believes the letter is written by Olivia. Maria comes to tell Sir Toby the plan has succeeded as she saw Malvolio in yellow stockings.
- Antonio and Sebastian have finally made their way to Illyria.
- Olivia consults with Maria on the best way to woo Cesario as he is coming back again. She asks Maria to bring Malvolio to advise as his melancholy mood will best match her own. When he arrives he looks funny as he followed the instructions in the letter, this makes Olivia confused and she believes he might've gone mad.
