- I formed from intense heat and pressure, deep inside Earth's crust. These stripes come from high-grade metamorphism!

- Wow that's awesome! Hey!! Is that white mineral on you quartz?? That's one of the predominant minerals I read about!

- Sharp eye buddy! This is quartz yep! Its a hard mineral with a glassy luster, used everywhere in today's world!

- Man those mountains are steep. What major geological formation is that, Gneiss?

- That's the Teton Fault! A 40 mile crack in the earth

- Ohhh so that's what caused the Teton Range to form! How cool is that!
- It was created by earthquakes over millions of years, lifting them up into the sky.
