Alex's Story

- You have a brother now, Alex. We need to take good care of him first. He's our priority, honey.
- No Alex, I can't tonight. We've got to feed Jakey and put him to bed. Maybe next time.
- *Sigh* They don't give me any attention or spend any time with me anymore now.
- Dad, we haven't spend time together for a while, do you want to watch some Netflix tonight?
- You're old enough to be more independent Alex. Jakey is still young, he can't take care of himself. He's our priority.
- WHY??! Can't you just spend one minute with me? Why is Jakey so special to you and I'm not??
- That's not FAIR!!! I hate you Jakey!! You 've ruined my life!!
- Alex had a great life, he had everything he wanted. Family, pets and freedom.
- Little kids, you don't know what you're doing. Annoying, pesky, idiotic little rats. Get away from me, you're useless.
- What are you doing, talking to little kids like this!
- Bullying can happen anywhere. At school, at the park, at work etc.
- But then, a few years later, his parents decided to adopt a 1 yr old child from the orphanage. His name was Jakey. And he took many things away from Alex.
- Um... good.....?
- Bullying hurts others verbally, socially or physically.
- OW! What was that for? Ouch! I'm bleeding! *Crying*
- Hey Thomas, how are you doing today?
- Get out of my way! I hate you little kids. You're useless.
- When bullied, little kids don't understand the situation they're in and they won't know what to do or what to think. That's why bullying kids can be really harmful to them.
- A few years later, Alex grew up a lot and was already 16 years old. Jakey was still only 6 years old and he was still the center of attention and care of his parents. Alex started to get frustrated at the lack of support and attention from his parents.
- That bully is right. I'm uselss, I can't do anything, I can't even defend myself. I'm just an annoying, little kid. What's the point in life? *Crying*
- After that, Alex started hating little kids. He despised them. They were annoying, pesky, little kids that couldn't take care of themselves. Whenever he saw little kids, he'd lose control over himself.
- It's none of your business. Leave me alone. Little kids don't deserve what they have!!
- Bullying is a continous and repeated act.
- Bullying is a misuse of power. (e.g. Older teens bullying little kids)
- The bullying continued for a few days and even though it had just been a few days, it was already damaging the little kids' lives horrifically. They got physically hurt, getting bruises and scratches. And they started becoming disatant from people because they didn't know who to trust.
- Oh... um... no... I'm fine... uh... thanks...
- You don't sound alright? Are you ok...?
- They started to lose their confidence and self esteem. They also became more anxious and stressed all the time because they were just constantly afraid. They even started questioning life because they couldn't understand why they were being targeted and bullied everyday.
- What's going to happen tomorrow... Is this bullying going to go on forever? I can't go on like this... everyday... *sigh*.
