- STEP 1- book an appointment to write the knowledge test - study the material found on ICBC website-do the practice tests- you must get 40/50 to pass

- FAILyou have to wait 7 days

- Step 2Now with your L you can drive with restrictions- must drive with qualified supervisor, who is over 25 and holds a valid licence- display L- no drugs/alcohol- limit on passengers- no driving between midnight and 5 am- no cell phone usage
- So happy I passed and now I get my N!!

- ONE YEAR LATER
- Glisser: 7
- Step 3- go for your drivers test- book an appointment with ICBC
- Glisser: 8
- FAILHave to wait 14 days
- Glisser: 9
- Step 4Now with your N you can drive with the following restrictions- no drugs/alcohol-display N- one passenger unless it is immediate family- no cell phone usage
- Glisser: 10
- Two Years Lateror 24 months - or if you take a certified drivers school than only 1.5 years (18 months) later
- Glisser: 11
- You can now take your final drivers test to get your full class 5 licence
- Glisser: 12
- Yay! You are now a full Class 5 driverCongratulations !!
- FAIL- must wait 14 days-2nd fail wait 30 days-3rd fail wait 60 days
