- Hi I'm a Peacock and I have cool traits the increase my chance to survive in the wild.
- The first adaption that I have is my large fan of feathers which help me camouflage and attract females. This helps me survive by helping me look larger than I am and help look for a female to mate with.
- My second adaption I have that helps me survive is my spurs on my feet. these large talons help me fend off any large predators that are hoping to snack on me.
- I'm so cool!
- My third adaptation that helps me survive in the wild is my backward facing toe. This adaption helps me survive by helping me grab onto branches and roosting in the trees
- The last trait that a peacock has that helps it survive is its beak. Peacocks are Omnivores which means they can use it to eat fruits and vegetables as well as berries. Since the beak is also very sharp it can cut up small creatures like rats and snakes to eat as well.
- This is how peacocks survived and adapted to the challenges in its environment.
