- Hello old friend!
- Hey Geralt!
- Why do wizards love towers so much?
- He lives right here.
- Stregobor...?
- Geralt!
- The story begins when Geralt, a witcher, enters Blavikan (A Witcher is a mutated monster slayer). He killed a Kikimora on the way towards this town and is now looking for someone to pay him for it. Not long after arriving he is greeted by an old friend, who happens to be the mayor of the town. He tells Geralt that the only person who could buy the Kikimora is the town's wizard, Irion.
- Offcourse you do...
- Sooo.... I need your help...
- Although, there is some bad blood between wizards and Witcher's, Geralt is desperate for coin, so he agrees to see Irion. He fallows the mayor. The wizard happens to live in a tower not far from the main market.
- As soon as Geralt sees the mage, he recognizes him. His real name is Stregobor, not Irion. Stregobor explains that when he came to Blavikan he took the tower and name after the previous wizard died, he said that it was fitting and allowed him to pay tribute to Irion.
- Evil is evil, Stregobor. Lesser, greater, middling, it's all the same.
- Kill Her! It's the lesser evil.
- Stragobor invites Geralt inside, where they start talking. After a few pleasantries the old mage get's to the point. He expresses his happiness to see Geralt at this moment, because he is in danger and desperetly needs the witcher's help. To explain his dilemma, Stragobor tells the story of the curse of the black sun, a prophesied end of the world.
- The prophecy stated that during an eclipse 60 girls will be born, mutating them into cruel creatures. Those girl's will leave a legacy of blood and destruction bringing up the return of elven goddess Lilit and the end of human civilization.
- Stragobor explains that after the eclipse he and other mages, searched and found every girl born on that day. All but one. Renfri who managed to escape before Stagobor could get to her. Stragobor further illiterates that she is pure evil and will kill him if Geralt doesn't intervene. He tell's him that it's "the lesser evil" to kill Renfri, as she might end the human civilization. He also offers any price Geralt wants.
