  • The Monsters are due on Maple Street By Rod Serling (Don't be too quick to point fingers).
  • In the "Monsters Are Due on Maple Street" By Rod Sterling. One of the main theme is "Don't be too quick to point fingers". I think this because, As soon as Les Goodman's car started, Everyone started accusing him without any further explanation or reasons of how this could happen (76-77). This shows that everyone could have asked questions and confronted him instead of causing more problems and accusing people for the wrong thing. Another reason why I think this is because, right after they started accusing Les Goodman, they hoped on to accusing Steve just because he was working on a "project" that could be involved with aliens(81-82). This shows that they were getting very angry with the fact that he was doing a fun progect they thought was something to communicate with aliens. Lastly, I think this because at the end everyone went from one to another accusing them because lights started to jump from house to house and ended up everybody tearing each other down (84-86). This shows that they were all starting to point fingers with ought reasonable evidece that they were the one to cause all the problems.
