- David was an Israelite, he was the youngest of 8 brothers in his family. He would watch the families sheep and make sure they wouldn't get hurt or run away.
- Here is your lunch
- Why are youy here!!!
- One day a man named Samuel who was an old prophet came and told David that he was to be the next king of the Israelites.
- Davids father called David over to the house to bless the other brothers because they were going off to fight the philistines.
- one day during the battle Davids's father asked him to go and deliver his brother's food. His brothers all accused him of only coming to watch the battle.
- YOU JUST WANT TO WATCH THE BATTLE!!!!
- suddenly the giant Philistine Goliath came out and started intimidating all of the Israelites. Goliath said "Am I a dog, that you come at me with sticks," David stepped forward and was going to fight Goliath, Goliath then said "I'll give your flesh to the birds of the air and the beasts of the field!"
- David went and got himself one smooth stone and his slingshot. David approached Goliath and drew his sling shot, he shot it at Goliath and it went so far into his forehead that he fell to the ground. David then grabbed Goliath's sword and chopped his head off, He carried the head around for the rest of the trip.
