- I, King Henry VIII, was born on the 28th of June 1491 in London. I was the second born son and second in line for the English throne. In 1502, I was heir to the throne after my brother died. However, I was well supervised and very little training when I was crowed at the age of 17.
- I would like to join that religion.
- He wanted to divorce his wife Catherine after she did not give him a son to carry on his legacy as King of England. Pope Clement VII was the head of the Catholic Church at the time and would not allow Henry to divorce as that was against the Church.
- Very mad at the situation, Henry decided to find a new wife named Anne Boleyn and to break away from the Catholic Church. By creating the Church of England
- This was very rare for a king to go out and make a new religion. Shockwaves were sent though England with some people agreeing with King Henry and others disagreeing.
- I do not think this is a good decision.

- The Catholic Church developed the Council of Trent in 1545. It was made to write the wrongs of the Church and to correct the beliefs of the Protestants.
