MELANIE GET BACK HERE!!!
Melanie just got done with her teaching session with the tv screen. Though, she did not pay attention at all. Melanie spends her time thinking about flamingos. Her mother is here to pick her up and tells her to put on her mask and eye protector to prevent the gas from getting in as they walk outside.
falling action
we used to have flamingos.
She wants to see a flamingo and tries to convince her parents to take her to the National Park. As for there are no birds where she lives. Her dad says no but later her mom convinces her dad to let her go.
resoultion
Melenie found a flamingo and bent down to touch it. When she touched it it fell over and ploped in the water. It was a fake plastic bird and Melenie started to cry. Her dad did not want her to get attatched to the land here because the place where she lived wasnt as nice.

The caretaker of the park explains why the park has to have a fake flamingos to her dad.
Melenie stopped crying as she overheard the parks cartaker and her dads conversationas as if she had the ears of an owl . She quiety picked up the firebird and whispered Goodbye and turned to leave.
