- Before leaving her friend house and going outside , Sanaz, as well as other women had to change to please the dress code
- I wish that I didn't have to change to please the regime
- I think I'm completely covered I wish i could just go outside and wear whatever I wanted.
- Sanaz had to make sure she was completely covered before she left. She put her black robe and scarf over her clothes so they wasn't seen.
- Sanaz and other women were scared to go outside, since they knew one small thing such as a strand of hair can get them in lots of trouble.
- Do you think its appropriate that she has her hair out for all to see?
- Hey!Green! Come with me!
- Do you see my hair at all?
- Is my shirt covered?
- Seeing women getting yelled at such over small things made her angry at what society has become, but also scared that she could be next.
- Are my earrings sgowing?
- Are my gloves covering my nail polish?
- Seating on the bus is segregated and women must only use the rear door to get on and off the bus.
- Should I follow the rules or sit in the front of the bus?
- During her moms generation, women were allowed to wear whatever the wanted and had basically the same rights as men. This made sanaz jealous and upset.
- I'm so happy we're free to walk around with whomever we want and wear whatever we want.
