- “Mom practice was fun, but I’m so hungry.”
- Tuesday September 3rd……
- One Tuesday after tennis practice,my bestfriend, my mom , my niece and I went to get food.
- Glisser: 3
- “Hey, what’s up…….”
- “Wait what? Is he okay?”
- When suddenly I receive a call…….
- Glisser: 4
- “Mom we have to go right now!”
- “Wait why??”
- I didn’t know how to tell my mom these knees so I just told her we had to leave.
- Glisser: 5
- “Tell me right now!! you’re making me worry”
- “Mom im gonna tell you what happened but please be calm”
- I knew deep down I couldn’t tell my mom right this second. My niece was in the backseat how would she react?
- I still didn’t have the guts to tell her. I was freaking out myself.
- Glisser: 6
- “Milo got attacked by 3 pit bulls while he was at work, Ceci is with him at the emergency room”
- “What? Please tell me he is okay. What do you know ?????”
- I told my mom what happened to my brother without knowing anything else. All I knew was that he was attacked. Not even my sister in law knew if he was okay.
- Glisser: 7
- Is he okay?
- Hearing my niece crying for her dad, and my mom praying all i could do was hold onto my Virgin Mary necklace.
- We went home in shock and sat there in disbelief.
- Glisser: 8
- OMG!!!!! The phone is ringing!
- Just answer it….
- My sister in law said she would call when she found out more information. And sure enough thirty minutes later there was the call.

- What have they told you about my brother?
- What if he dies …….
- He got bit on his neck and on his arms and legs.
- We decided to go to the hospital when my brother and dad got home from work.
- Glisser: 11
- Guys be calm, let’s have hope. Let’s go to the hospital right now!
- Het got bit on his neck!!!!! Is he going to be okay?
- They got home and we rushed to the hospital.
- Glisser: 12
- The whole car ride, I was holding on to my necklace, Praying that my older brother would be okay.
- This was the first time a car ride with my family has been quite.
- Glisser: 13

- I hope hes still with us…

- We arrived at the hospital and I prayed that he would be okay.

- Hello, yes go this way please. Only two people at at time please.
- Hello where is room E10?
- We checked in as visitors and waited.
- Glisser: 16
- You guys go ahead….
- Hopefully he’s okay…
- My parents and niece went first which was understandable but I just wanted to see my brother .
- Glisser: 17
- You guys are up next!
- Keeping a grip on my necklace as I paced back in forth in the lobby.
- 10 minutes went by and I heard my parents saying to go see him.
- Glisser: 18
- I kept the tight grip on my necklace and prayed that he was okay.
- I stood in front of the elevator, I hesitated. All I could think about was could this be the last time I see him?
- Glisser: 19
- Mmhmmm….
- Brother are you okay?
- We stood in front of my brother, this was nothing like the outgoing,fun and crazy person we knew.
- Glisser: 20

- This was my brother , completely vulnerable. In pain in every way possible .

- Please brother give us a smile, you’re alive!
- We talked with my brother for 15 minutes and things ended up like our normal conversations. We made jokes about each other and laughed at each others jokes.
