- Sir Grammarly was a knight in the Kingdom of Words--a land where people loved to use adverbs to modify verbs, adjectives, and other adverbs...
- Hey, that's me!
- Once upon a time, the King sent Sir Grammarly on a quest to save the kingdom.
- Adverbs can tell you: when (once upon a time)
- Adverbs can tell you: how it happened (clumsily), and to what extent (quite)
- Walking along quite pleased with himself, Sir Grammarly missed a step while leaving, and clumsily fell down the stairs...
- Adverbs can tell you:where (Far)
- Far from the castle, Sir Grammarly encountered a kindly demon who told him where to go.
- Adverbs can tell you: how often (sometimes) and how long (all day)
- But, as sometimes happens, Sir Grammarly needed to summon the courage to continue on. Okay, it pretty much happened all day.
- And so it was that Sir Grammarly found himself looking down a very dark tunnel, with the fate of the kingdom hanging in the balance...
