- Herbert, Mr. white, and Mrs. White are playing chess right by the fireplace.
- I want my son to be alive again.
- Sargent Morris's comes to tell them something about the monkeys paw.
- A man comes to the door then tells them their son died. He gave Mr. white a 200 hundred pounds. Mr. white knows that he is the one that caused the death of Herbert.
- Mrs. White told Mr. white that they only did one wish and now the have 2 more. Mr. White goes to the fireplace to take the monkeys paw and wish his son back.
- Mr and Mrs. White hear a knock on the door and did not want to open it.
