God wants to clear the whole Earth, because of all of the violence by destroying everyone and everything by creating a bad flood. He decided to leave Noah and his family so life could still go on. Noah was told to build an ark and get 1 pair of each animal and get  food.
"Noah I give you a  responsibility and I trust you to make an ark to protect your family and the animals from the flood"
Noah received all of the necessary information to build the ark, including the size and materials. Then Noah starts to build the ark.
God gathers every single pair of animal male and female. He did that by giving the animals a sense of danger and then led them to a safe place.
The ark was very big, it was large enough to fit all of the animals, all of the food and also all of Noah's family. God said to Noah that there is going to be rain for 40 days and 40 nights
There will be rain for 40 days & Nights
It was rainy for 150 days. During all of those days Noah and his family took care of all of the animals on the ark as apart of their daily chores until it was safe again to go back into the world.
God blessed Noah for obeying his commandment.  In return, he game Noah everlasting food, green plants and everything that he wanted. Life on earth would be peaceful and there would always be happiness
