- In 1603 Queen elizebeth died then james I became king and people thought that he would help the catholics but he helped the pretesants
- King james I makes a speech and anounces that he will be a protesant and he will be making catholics lives even harder
- They started to create a plan on blowing king James I up
- Guy Fawks was about to blow the gunpowder when a gaurd walked in and captured him
- The other people soon get cought and were put into prison
- A month later they were punished to death for trying to blow up the king
