- The assembly line introduced by Henry Ford brought jobs to us in factories and we make things like radios and refrigerators
- The Harlem Renaissance brought recognition and pride to us black musicians but further pointed out our second class citizenship
- Women like us who bob our hair and wear shorter than average skirts are recognized as Flappers
- The 1920's were known as the "Roaring 20's" for the abundance of good times, alcohol, organized crime and many othet things that impacted our lives.
