- In this scene, I am working on a math assignment but I start to feel confused and stuck.
- I approach my teacher politely and explain exactly which part of the assignment I don’t understand.
- This is an example of self-advocacy because I clearly communicated my needs and asked for support so I could succeed.

- Self-Awareness
- In this scene, I am sitting with my friends in the cafeteria while they are being loud and energetic. I notice that I am feeling overwhelmed and need some quiet time to calm down. Instead of ignoring my feelings, I choose to take care of myself by stepping away for a few minutes. I let my friends know that I just need a little break and that I will come back afterward. This shows self-awareness because I recognize my emotions and make a healthy choice based on how I feel.

- Conflict Resolution
- In this scene, my partner and I are working on a school project in the library when we realize we both want to do the same part.
- We each explain our ideas and then decide on a fair compromise by dividing the task or rotating responsibilities.
- At first, it could turn into an argument, but instead I suggest that we talk it through.
- By communicating respectfully, we find a solution that works for both of us.
- This is an example of conflict resolution because we resolve our disagreement calmly and cooperatively.
