William The Conqueror was born in Falaise France in the year of 1028. His parents where Robert I and Herleva. Little did William know he was going to be a great king one day.

William the conqueror led france into the Battle of Hastings against KIng Harold II in England. William the Conqueror won against King Harold and took control of England.

King Williams next act was to take a giant census of all of the land and people of england to organize the country more and make more civil laws.
William spent his last months in Normandy and sadly died in 1087 on September 9th after a long reign in England. This time set England p for a bright future
