- The owner might pity me and give me a night’s stay and a job.
- I looked at my worn-out shoes as I treaded aimlessly around the neighborhood. I had one goal: to reach the mansion at the end of the street.
- I reached the door and rapped on the large brown door. After the servant called the owner and I told him of my needs, he pushed me down the steps instead of giving me the pity and help I needed.
- I don’t remember anything after that, until I found myself beside the mansion outside a woman’s house (Adriana, I inferred as her family called her this). I felt strangely drawn to her baby, Gustavo. Before I knew it, I was near enough to touch him.
- Hey! Let’s knock down that tin can over there!
- I don’t know what supernatural power took over me but I lived as the boy for 10 years!

- After this incident, I understood why I was drawn to possess the little boy, who was now missing and me back in my beggar form. I did miss the luxurious life “mom” had given me, but I thought it was about time I left that place.
