The Green House with Dreams

- Once upon a time in a beautiful neighborhood, there stood a big dark green house with alot of rooms and a backyard that could fit a garden
- One day , two very different families moved in together, almost like the house had invited them for a long talk
- First came Mr. Willy Loman, a salesman with a very loud laugh. Willy believed wa about being well liked.Next was Mama Lena, her son Walter, his wife Ruth, and sister Beneatha. Mama dreamed of a garden. Walter wanted a business to make his family proud.
- Glisser: 2
- “Good morning! Let’s talk about success! All you need is charm.”
- “I dream of running my own business. I want to work hard for my family.”
- “Dreams are nice, but they must be honest. And you must take care of the people you love.”
- Glisser: 3
- “Business? Hard work? No! Just be popular! Like my boy, Biff.”
- “Being liked doesn't pay the bills. I want to build something real.”
- Willy believed in smiles. Walter believed in hard work.
- Glisser: 4
- Later, they sat with lemonade. Willy told big stories about getting rich fast.
- "Be Bold!"
- “It is hard for us to get ahead,”
- “Dad’s big dreams make him sad when they don't come true.”
- Glisser: 5
- “If you are not liked, you are nothing!”
- “If you only chase money, you can hurt the people you love.”
- “You both want a better life. But dreams need strong roots, like a tree.”
- Glisser: 6
- Suddenly, a big thunderstorm came! The lights went out.
- (Everyone is huddled together in the living room)
- “I almost lost my family, too. We need to help each other.”
- “My big talk makes me forget my family,”
- They all huddled together as the rain fell.
- Glisser: 7
- The next morning, the sun came out. They went outside to make a garden together. Willy told jokes while he watered. Walter dug in the dirt with strong hands. Mama showed them how to plant seeds.
- Glisser: 8
- “When we share dreams, they grow stronger!”
- “Building something real means lifting everyone up.”
- “Being liked starts with being good to people close to you.”
- Glisser: 9
- Biff and Beneatha started dreaming out loud, too. Biff wanted to work outdoors. Beneatha wanted to be a doctor.The yellow house felt warm and full of love. The American Dream was about smiles, hard work, and love.
- Glisser: 10
- In the big green house, the families learned a secret. The best dream is made of heart, hard work, and helping each other.They kept planting, laughing, and growing together.
