Texte du Storyboard

  • How Adler Sees Me
  • I wish I was as perfect as my sister.
  • How Rogers Sees Me
  • I know your pain, I fell and hurt my hip at dance last year.
  • How Costa & McCrae Sees Me
  • I am going to fail this test.. I don't know the answers to any of this.
  • Alfred Adler was involved with the theory of birth order. He believed that the order of children in the family could influence their personality and feeling of inferiority. As a younger sibling you feel inferior to your old siblings.
  • How Jung Sees Me
  • I LOVE YOU!
  • I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you!
  • Carl Rogers believed that therapists must have 3 conditions that facilitate growth. The three conditions are empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard. These conditions help individuals to move forward and become their true self. My grandpa fell and hurt his hip I had empathy for him because I have experienced the same pain before.
  • How Bandura Sees Me
  • 4th place???? The judges just didn't like jazz.....
  • Costa and McCrae studied how people are different from one another. Personalities was a big factor in their study, noticing that they are the same in all cultures. They found five factors and one of them is neuroticism. I experienced this when I was very worrisome and doubted myself when I was taking my anatomy test.
  • How Horney Sees Me
  • No one here loves me enough to ask me to dance with them. I should just go be alone forever.
  • Carl Jung disagreed with Freud about the sexual basis of neuroses. Jung believed that the collective unconscious is expressed through archetypes. Which are universal symbols, images shared by all cultures. A symbol that is used a lot is being in love and love at first sight. My moms cousin introduced my dad to her and they got engaged 6 months later, they fell in love very quickly.
  • Self-serving bias is very common in people, it is when we take credit for success and blame others for failure. I experienced this when I did not place top 3 in my jazz solo, and I blamed it on the judges not liking the jazz style.
  • Karen Horney believed that neurosis was a result from basic anxiety that is caused by interpersonal relationships. We feel most helpless, anxious, and lost around the issue of getting enough love. We build personalities around fighting rejection using compliance, aggression, or withdrawal. This is me at a party when no one asked me to go out on the dance floor and dace with them, so I withdrew myself from the dance floor.
