  • Hey, do you know about Abraham Maslow's motivation theory?
  • Oh? Mind if I take your time? I would like to explain it.
  • Uh no but I have heard of Frederick Taylor's.
  • Sure
  • Psychological needs are basic needs such as water, food a place to rest. Safety needs are ones such as cameras and goggles. Love and belongings such as friends. Esteem needs are like having an employee of the month, raising salary. Self-actualization such as having a degree.
  • Maslow's hierarchy of needs is a theory of motivation. Basically it states 5 categories of the human needs at work. They are: psychological, safety, love and belongings, esteem needs and self-actualization.
  • I see! I wish I could have that at my workplace.
