- Douglass is on a plantation with no freedom
- yes master
- get back to work now
- Covey breaks all of the slaves by hiding then beating them when they are slacking
- Douglass escaping from the plantaition
- i know i might get beat when i come back but im willing to take that risk.
- get back here now or i will make you work harder then you've have before.
- covey is about to beat Douglass for not working. Douglass is tired of it but he just deals with getting beat.
- Covy and Douglass start frighting
- Covey sneaking around to catch slaves who are lacking. if the slaves are lacking he will hit them harder and harder untill they start working.
- The fight with Covey
- Douglass running away from the plantation on a Sunday and getting a "magically root" from a old man in the woods
- Covey never hit Douglass again
- Covey cough Douglass and tied hi to a post. Douglass starts fighting back to get freed from the rope.
- Douglass and Covey where fighting. each of them where throwing punches at each other, Covey was calling for help from the other slaves but they said "you hired us to work not to fight for you."
- Covey was scared of Douglass because he knows he could beat him in a fight. so Covey never wiped Douglass when he was lacking.
