- When he was older he served in the Roman army but deserted them

- All seemed fine for Sparticus until he was captured as punishment for abandoning
- They sold him as a slave to become a gladiator. But he constructed a breakout mission with other Gladiators and it worked!
- They travelled across Italy forming a mighty force made up of slaves, taken from villages and Gladiators. Gaius Claudius Glaber was told to kill them but was caught on a surprise attack by them and they kept on moving
- After successfully defeating another Roman army whilst gaining many more recruits, they were free to leave Italy and go to non Roman controlled areas. However Sparticus wanted to go back into Italy. So they did
