- World War 1 was known as the War to end all wars. The war was the central powers such as Germany and Turkey, against the allies such as Great Britain, Russia, and the United States. The United States got involved because of the German submarine warfare.
- Iran Hostage Crisis
- Haha! Keeping these hostage!
- A dictator named Adolf Hitler wanted to take over Germany and kill the Jews. The allies defeated Japan and Nazi Germany in 1945. The reason for U.S.'s involvement was the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.
- Gulf Wars
- The cold war was a rivalry between the United States and the Soviet Union. The US defeated the Soviets. The reasoning for US involvement is the posed threat that the Soviet Union gave to America.
- 9/11

- The Iran Hostage Crisis was when students from Iran held US diplomats hostage, after they took over US embassy. The reason for US involvement was because Iranian protesters had seized staff of US embassy in Tehran.
- The Gulf wars were a response to the Iraq invasion. The reason for US involvement was because US and its allies forced Iraqi forces out of Kuwait.
- 9/11 was a terrorist attack on September 11th 2001. Planes hit both twin towers and towers fell down and many people died. President Bush declared a global "War on Terror" and sent US forces in Afghanistan.
