- Both the french and the British wanted to own the Ohio river valley. since both wanted to take ownership to this land many things were done against one another such as the french building forts near the land and the British creating the Ohio company to gain ownership to the west of the river.

- while the iroquois did want to form an alliance with the british but nebjamin frankin had an idea to fix this colonies form a union for their defense, to be headed by a royally appointed president and a legislature and they would have many rights to a good government such as army,power to taxes and more. and this was called the Albany plan
- I WILL NOT CREATE AN ALLIANCE WITH THE BRITISH

- British general Edward Braddock was a commander for the British army and selected George Washington to be on his side. while the British troops were alongside the Dubuque but they were attacked by the french and Native american Allies. and Edward Braddock was killed n ths altercation.

- George Washington found the french building their fort and he decided that he would do the same and have a stockade called fort necessity built 40 miles away.
- what a great fort!
- William Pitt was secretary of state and leader of British house of commons in 1757 and he was confident that he could seize the French colonies in North America. Pitt poured money, supplies, and reinforcements into the British colonies.
- “I am sure I can save this country, and nobody else can.”

- signed in February 1763 the treaty of Paris was complete and Great Britain defeated France.
