  • We need to produce plants faster!! No matter what it does to the environment.
  • This revolution was the transformation of people from hunting and gathering to farming. This started 2 million years ago in Mesopotamia. Because of this revolution society had to learn to cooperate, land became more efficient, development of tools and weapons, it increased the population and material possession.
  • This revolution was from the 1750's to the 1850's in Great Britain. During this time there was introduction of new crop rotation techniques and selective breeding of livestock. Because of this revolution there was more crops, a population boom, food costs went down, and everything helped spur the industrial revolution.
  • This revolution was was from 1943 until the 1970's in South and East Asia and other less developed countries. The innovations were biotechnology and genetically modified plants. A positive was how they produced a lot of crops and made a lot of food for the country, but a negative is that it polluted the water and potentially caused birth defects.
