- Johnny, Ponyboy and Dally stop at a Dairy Queen after a week of hiding.
- Some Kids are missing!
- They get into Dally's car and see the church burning as they go home and decide to stop by
- Pony and Johnny head into the church to save trapped kids, getting injured in the process
- Dally, Johnny, and Dally are rushed to the hospital with Johnny being severely injured.
- I'm so sorry Ponyboy...
- After Ponyboy encounters Darry, it becomes clear to him that Darry truly loves Pony, and is only pushing him too hard.
