Starting off with a long shot of Mattie after she falls. Slowly zooming in on her and the snakes and cutting back and forth.
My arm was pinned against my side and I could not move it.
....that the forearm was bent in an unnatural attitude. The arm was broken!
A zoom in on Mattie with a dolly shot as she lays with her hurt arm. Cut between Mattie and the dead body.

Cutting between Mattie and the entrance of the pit.
Can you climb out?
Mid shot of Rooster. He is holding a rope to send to Mattie. Cuts between the rope, Rooster and Mattie
Rooster takes Mattie and gets her out of the pit. Dutch angle of Rooster and Mattie climbing up the pit.
Mattie, Rooster and the horse in a mise-en shot and a long shot as they are hiding off.
Scene ends as Mattie and Rooster are hiding off. Camera stays still but they are slowly getting smaller.
